In the field of philosophy, it is often hard to understand true meaning behind complicated terminology like empiricism, epistemology and pragmatism . The average reader might find some of this information obscured by pages upon pages of text. (un)Enlightened Philosophy is designed to help convey the sometimes difficult-to-understand philosophical ideas, theories, and concepts  to average philosophy enthusiasts. Each post will be written in an easy-to-read format with general descriptions of particular topics in philosophy.

I am not a professor of philosophy and I have no other qualifications then the fact that I am currently majoring philosophy and the simple love I have for the field. Under no circumstances am I claiming to hold universal truths about the topics I write about. What I can offer is an exciting, fun, and short introduction into the world of philosophy which will hopefully stimulate my readers to want to learn more about the particular topic.
